If you have a small bathroom or cloakroom that you want to renovate or upgrade, you should take a look at some of the key elements to consider.
I’m currently remodeling my house, Storage wise this is soo inconvenient… with the storage under sink, medicine cabinet, n over the toilet cabinet they had stuff overflowing now without all that it’s going to be a lot of frustration to make things accessible.
That shower door that opens inwards should come with a warning. Anyone that slips and falls or get overheated or heaven forbid has a heart attack and it will be exceptionally difficult to get them out if they are leaning on the door. For safety’s sake, shower doors should either open outwards or slide open. I love the narrow sink with loo roll & towel holders. (I live in US but had a bathroom in UK like the 1st one here.)
I see a few tiles that I really like, even a low-class work will suggest a design…
I’m used to seeing videos or articles where the “small” bathroom is bigger than my living room.
What a transformation!! So much fresher and cleaner… phenomenal impact for when you don’t want to invest in a structural rebuild. I understand colours are subjective, and I would have loved to have seen a slightly warmer and darker floor colour (concrete depth), to ground that space better. At least the tap-ware is easy to replace, because that black, although fashionable now, will be frowned upon like the gold 80s stuff we are ripping out nowadays.
A cloakroom is normally a small, downstairs bathroom… often situated under the stairs. Not big enough for a shower or bath, but fine for a handy WC and sink.

How to design a small bathroom
Incredible video; really helped me settle on some key design elements for the bathrooms which need to be redone. The best video on small bathrooms I could find. 2D layouts with measurements would be of great help though.
Oh, how I wish home builders would start hiring you to design these small bathrooms to make them so much more functional and nice/pretty. Rather than them all just looking like a cookie cutter, you could create a user friendly style…that would be so nice!
